Memorandum for a Spy (1965 TV Movie)
An absorbing spy drama

Warning: Spoilers
I discovered it yesterday on Polar channel. I did not know this little programmer directed by Stuart Rosenberg, one of his earlier films, shot for TV. I guess that there are others like that, I'll check on IMDb. It is an Universal product, very interesting indeed, well made, typical intrigue of this time, sixties, far from clichés, as we usually watch. Characters are well described. Robert Stack gives here a good performance. He plays an ex spy, who became an alcoholic after the death of his colleagues, and who is recruited by both CIA and KGB, in order to seek a traitor, hidden in an asylum.

It is rather a sad story, especially in the ending.
