Super Mario 2 is unlike any other Mario Game. You get the option to play as Mario, Toad, Luigi, or Princess Toadstool. You then embark on a magical journey.
The gameplay is interesting and unique, but in a good way. Like how you pick up vegatables and throw them at enemies. Or how you can pick up enemies and throw them. I think this game is quite satisfying in how you can fight your enemies. Also I like how you can pick up coins and play the slot machine game at the end of levels.
Another interesting aspect is how you have to fight Birdo at the end of every level. Birdo, purple egg shooting dinosaur, is quite an interesting character. It is neat how you have to fight her(or him) at the end of each level. The bosses at the end of each world are all unique and also it is somewhat unusual how this game has no Bowser in it.
Strategy comes into play a little. Each character has their own strengths. Toad is the strongest, Luigi can jump really high, Toadstool can float for a while, and Mario is well balanced. So you have to decide on who to use and why you want to use them.
