Review of Bureaucracy

Bureaucracy (2009)
9/10
Realistic Hitchcockian thriller
21 October 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This is a Hitchcockian thriller in a very real and familiar setting, which makes it that much more suspenseful. It kept me involved because I could relate to Roger, who is often passed over at work, regardless of the effort he puts in. This movie pulls no punches, and when you see Roger slink through the office, enacting his plans, you know there will be trouble. Good performances by all the actors. If you've worked in an office, you get the feeling these are people you've worked with before. I'd recommend it if you liked Bad Influence (Rob Lowe, James Spader), A Shock to The System (Michael Caine 1987), North By Northwest, Body Double, Talented Mr. Ripley....
