awesome movie

Warning: Spoilers
Before watching this much hyped father son role reversal movie I have few doubts regarding few things. whether this could surpass director's 1st outing 'Cheeni Kum' or not in 1st place. Second if this could be a better movie than Amitabh Bachchan's most brilliantly acted movie ever Sajnay Leela Bhansali's Black. I come up with all my answers and expectations on DEC 04. Thanks my praises has been answered, the outcome was extremely positive. Though I regard Black a better movie than this one, I would say this one a superior movie in terms of thinking something out of box never happened before at least in Indian film fraternity. This movie is blessed with superlative performances from abhisekh and vidya, they stand shoulder to shoulder in front of grand father of Hindi movie Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. And I won't restrict myself just by saying Big B's auro an amazing performance because this one is the role once in a lifetime. May be in Black he displays various emotions with aplomb and raise the bar for the future generations through his geniousness but this one is something different. In acting front I would say Paa enable to beat even his earlier best attempt in Black. It would have fallen flat over one's face if would have been trusted to inferior actors but than he is Big B, how one could forget if he couldn't, no one could in this world. And Although he was restricted to display many histrionics probably he could generally due to prosthetic makeover as he looks completely unrecognizable. But still impacts were astounding due to his mannerism and subtle act. One would relate with him as the movie progresses and you will laugh and u will cry with him for sure. And his would be probably the best compliment one could give regarding his act.

And hats off to Balki as well for making this movie a simple one and a much believable. If Black was a dark movie which talks about the hope in the midst of darkness this one is complete positive. And also not to forget the score from Ilaya Raja which gels right with the tempo of the movie. Protagonist in this movie suffers from a rare genetic disorder progeria, the condition of accelerated aging, where a person looks 6 times older of his real age and at the time when the person reaches the age of 13 completes his span. Though he is affected with such serious disease balki has no room for self pity, his protagonist in the story is just treated like a normal children of his age by everyone and this reflects his vision. The way Balki dealt with this serious issue and comes out with beautiful and charming endeavor shows the stamp of his geniusness. He is really a force to reckon with. Through his witty one liners he sets the mood of the viewers that this is not the rona dhona kind of movie but than he also gives the feeling in regular interval about the seriousness of the subject. The movie displays varied emotions and one should realize though name of the movie is PAA this also dealt with Mother son relationship beautifully.

And ending of the movie takes the movie to another height. Auro the main protagonist who was the reason behind the separation of his estranged parents reunited them. Even stone hearted person cannot remain untouched with the heart wrenching climax and here it takes this movie from being a good one to the status of cult classic. go for it I would give this movie 10 out of 10. Simply astounding.
