This short deals with Travis, a high-school boy; Alex, his kid sister; and Jesse the brother's gay friend.
The film opens at Travis's high school track meet and we then meet the kid sister. We also meet Travis' pal Jesse who's a photographer. Travis & his sis Alex are close and Travis spends a good deal of time taking care of Alex due to somewhat absent parents.
The pair agree to meet with photographer Jesse to take photos the next day.
As with many shorts, this has the feel of a movie joined in progress. While it succeeds in evoking a mood and introducing us to some characters we could come to care about, it's limited in scope and ends before we know much of the story or the back-story.
Well worth the 15 or so minutes it takes to view.
