Cheaper than a flight to DC...

...but Tom Cavanagh's laughs are even cheaper.

That being said, my 7 year-old twins *really* liked his sense of humor. And they may have accidentally learned something in the process. Heck even I did, like the 10 years it took Congress to approve/accept the donation from Englishman Smithson to start the museum. Or the fact that Stradivarius made cellos as well as violins was something I didn't know.

The range on this series is pretty vast (it includes dead letters and Phyllis Diller!), and the pacing is quick, with playful camera angles/cuts and Cavanagh's (relentless for me) mugging.

Anyways, I hope this is something that triggers the kids to later want to actually visit the Smithsonian museums. I just hope they don't spend all their time pretending to walk into walls when we get there.
