Amusing Demon Horror Satire
1 May 2010
Or, very funny horror. This is the kind of late night film theaters should be showing. It's a comedy wrapped inside a scary appearance but with some scary and suspenseful moments nonetheless. There's enough gore and blood to keep the typical horror fan living inside a pentagram curious if not completely happy.

One of the beauties of this film is that it dives right into the horror element. No attempts at the almost always thin and half-thought plot and character development. Just when you think it's going in deeper, it begins playing with you as if you're a mouse about to be a cat's after dinner snack.

Even though it's too bad this didn't get a little more money for visual and audio effects, and a bit more sound editing, it remains visually impressive and the sound really only fails during a single soundtrack mix error. Making some deals for quirky, yet fitting and distinct music with independent bands probably helped it save a few bucks, but not enough. Hopefully a version with a little more post-production clean-up and editing will be released if it does well enough.
