A Question of Sport (1970– )
3/10
Used to be good ..... absolute rubbish now

Warning: Spoilers
When I was growing up I used to love this show. I remember the the early Captains ...... Gareth Edwards, Henry Cooper, Cliff Morgan, and perhaps the best era of Beaumont and Hughes.

During this period the question master was David Coleman (David Vine in the early years) and we all enjoyed watching his mistakes and Emlyn Hughes squirming as he wondered whether or not to go home or away. Underneath all this however was a good competitive sports quiz which had a certain degree of pride amongst the participants.

Then Sue Barker took over and the quiz immediately started going downhill fast. She consistently failed to keep control and what was once a good panel show full of good wit turned into a contest of who could shout the loudest. I'm afraid its time to pull the plug on this now or get a new quizmaster/mistress.
