Contrived but enjoyable war time espionage thriller about a reporter and his buddy getting on a train with the publisher daughter while German spies are wandering about. The plot is complicated by the addition of two identical bags, one that contains incriminating evidence and the other a bomb set to go off at 1022 or if the bag is opened.
Its a solid little film which suffers because its a little too workman like in its production, hitting all of the required points too cleanly and too effortlessly and too obviously. One some level I think this might have been a minor classic if the film had managed not to be so predictable. Still its worth a look.
