Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow
21 September 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Michael McIntyre has come a long way in the last two or three rising to stardom, of course he was a comedian quite a while before he started appearing on panel shows, but that what is helped him out. You may know the stand-up comedy series Live at the Apollo, this looks very similar, but this is a show moving from theatre to theatre with McIntyre as the host. Theatres the show has been taken include Edinburgh, Machester (the Apollo), Birmingham, Swansea, Belfast, Brighton, Glasgow, Sunderland, Blackpool, Dublin, Bristol and Leeds. Each show features McIntyre introducing three stand-up comedians to perform their stuff, and a headline act, i.e. a comedian up there to the same sort of level as the host. Comedians in the show have included Rhod Gilbert (headliner), Kevin Bridges (headliner), Stewart Francis, Mark Watson, Jason Manford (headliner), John Bishop (headliner), Sarah Millican (headliner), Shappi Khorsandi (headliner), Steve Hughes, Sean Lock (headliner), Alun Cochrane, Patrick Kielty (headliner), Kerry Godliman, Al Murray (headliner), Jo Caulfield, Micky Flanagan, Milton Jones, Noel Fielding (headliner), Ardal O'Hanlon (headliner), Sean Collins, Andi Osho, Jack Whitehall and many more. Very good!
