In the Field (2005)
10/10
A Breath Of Fresh Air...
25 October 2010
I saw 'In The Field' at the New York Film Festival in 2005, and for a short war film, it was very breath taking. In The Field gives a million reason why no one should go to war. It is a soul numbing realistic depiction of what our grandfathers, fathers, uncles, brothers and sons have faced in humanities darkest moments. Not just in WWII but in any war. This movie is exceptional in every way, the Acting was beautiful, and I really felt for the Actor who was playing the young child, seeing as it was a very emotional role to play. All in all, this movie is a must see! Sounds, Music, Camera Angles are carefully implemented, and I do believe that we will be seeing big things from the Director 'Matthew Hope' In the near future!
