Billy Connolly Live 1994
22 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I sometimes think that the comedian looks a lot better when he has a beard, and most of the shows where he does seem to be funnier, this wasn't one where he had one, but he performed alright. Billy Connolly performs to the audience playing at the Hammersmith Apollo as part of his tour with his usual observational and obscure comedy routine. The subjects he talks about in the show are Fred West, his opinions and experiences of sex, his opinion of the scrotum, stupid sayings, Michael Jackson, going to Ireland, being in Switzerland and eating Tobelerones, going into an Irish restaurant and laughing at something on the menu (he strives away from the story along the way), walking weirdly, men and women keeping secrets, farting, information in a menu, his Uncle Huey and Aunt Agnes, tripping up, his father, and much more, and the end credits have him playing the banjo music. Billy Connolly was number 16 on TV's 50 Greatest Stars, he was number 8 on The Comedians' Comedian, he was number 1 on Britian's Favourite Comedian, he was number 1 on 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, and he was number 1 on 100 Greatest Stand-Ups 2010. Good!
