Review of Between Heaven and Earth

"Between Heaven and Earth" tells its impressive story by jumping between the black an grey scene inside the Landing Gear Box,displaying the wrong hopes,tales of paradise and dark experiences of illegal immigrants to Europe; and the colorful living pictures of a township somewhere in Ivory Coast (shot in Jo-Burg,Z.A. in a more documentary style). Leaving the African live behind the movies reaches its climax in the cold black landing gear, opening again to give a view over the red roofs of a suburbia around Munich - the well regulated and structural appearance of the dreamed "heaven" to the most of the third world refugees.
