Warning: Spoilers
Great film for those who are experienced in the world of psychonautics, There were moments in the film that really plugged you into the consciousness of it. The scene where the women in the windblown dress sings is truly beautiful. And the garden of Ardan like sanctuary captured the spaciousness of perceiving the reality of the organic world. Also the scene with the swan brought to mind Baudalaire's poem, Le Cyne, in which sychronisticly contains the same theme of the movie. Don't want to give a spoiler but the idea of death contrasted with the butterflies reminds me of the saying, " What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly." I would love to make a film like it one day for - one day like rain the mystery will spread like green over the earth. (not an exact quote but eh, I like it.)
