King's Man (2010)
10/10
Great Film
9 April 2011
I thought King's Man was an excellent independent film production. I was able to watch it uninterrupted and was gripped by it's message. Though faintly similar to Taken this film captures the terror that must be felt by kidnapped victims and highlights how truly difficult it is to rescue someone who has been kipnapped. The imagery was rich the acting was great especially Jose Rosette. The locations throughout Arizona reminded me a bit of the Cohen film Raising Arizona the mountains, locals could not have been better. The set design was a bit lacking but the camera work and directing was first rate reminded me of a Michael Bay film with quick cuts and attention to detail. They could not have done more to highlight the terror but still I would rate this film a solid ten and recommend it to anyone. I found the part from Doua Moa of Gran Turino especially enjoyable.
