Let's call this the third episode in the Norm/Rebecca Painting Saga, the first two being "Paint Your Office" and "Let Sleeping Drakes Lie." This installment finds Rebecca channeling all her frustrated corporate energy into Norm's dysfunctional house-painting business. She gets so high from their limited success that she heads to the corporate bosses to quit.
Meanwhile Sam hooks up with Erin, a young blond whose very existence revolves around strenuous physical exercise. There a few odd moments in this sub-plot as some of Sam's lines are over-dubbed and nonsensical, most notably:
"Alright I'm meeting Erin for some jogging"
AND
"I think I'll ease into a bubble bath... or a wheelchair"
I'm not sure what went wrong in the direction or editing that required these sloppy overdubs, but there you go.
Kirstie Alley really shines here as a comedic lead... she is full of energy and original deliveries, and it's nice to see the Rebecca character finally tasting some success.
"He's nude, sir... BUCK NAKED."
GRADE: A
