A good way to end the series...but there was so much more they could have done....

Warning: Spoilers
Okay, I'll admit that if you had to end this wonderful series that this particular episode handled it very well. The only problem is...this meant a way too abortive ending to this magnificent show. So, while it was well done, I felt pretty wistful watching.

The show begins at a water show--much like the sort of one Chuck's aunts would have performed at years ago. In fact, as Ned, Emerson, Olive and Chuck enter the arena, they notice the aunts there--and hide. At the show, the team is called to action as the rivals of Aunts Vivian and Lily are attacked by a Great White Shark during their act--and one is eaten! Wendie Malick and Nora Dunn star as this rival team and the plot is, as usual, quite funny and gross. In particular, seeing Dunn eaten and later interviewed is pretty cool...and gross.

Unlike the normal episode for "Pushing Daisies", however, after the main plot is solved there is a lengthy epilogue in which most of the series dangling plot threads are tied together--very, very quickly. I liked the way they solved this but really would have preferred this occur slower. Plus, a few threads are STILL dangling--such as Ned's father and Chuck's runaway dead dad. Still, a MUST for fans of the series.
