Suraag - the clue aired on DD National Channel in 1999. This serial deals with intelligent crime investigations of CID Inspector Bharat (starred Sudesh Berry), still considered as one of the best Indian crime TV serial of all time. This serial unlike previous detective based serials on Indian screen involved tackling of one case every episode and seldom were the story or case of one episode continued to the next one. This fact and Soodesh Berry's baritone were considered to be the serial's USP which was very popular in the 90s. It was dubbed to many languages suitable for different language audiences in India.I happened to see this when i am around 8 or 9 years of age, still i remember the protagonist of this series Inspector Bharat has impressed me a lot. After several years i watched many crime movies silence of the lambs,bone collector,seven,insomnia and more, but this serial still in my mind which pushed me to write this review in order to tribute this series.
