This is one of those movies that you watch alone, late at night in the dark. Great Friday night fun. While not the greatest movie made(The Security here really needs to be FIRED), it has decent acting (I'm a fan of the Panabaker sisters), a creepy atmosphere (Hospitals freak me out), and a killer twist (No Spoilers :P). The monster is scary, the kills are great for gore-hounds, yet never overdone. Not as bad as other may be trashing, reading other reviews, I do agree it has a couple of flaws. It made me jump on several occasions and is a solid flick if you can move past Carpenter's renown. Just go in expecting cheese, and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
