A Comedy that is Simply not Funny

Well, poor Steve Fresh's mum has one month to come up with $32,000 or she will be kicked out of her home. That is a bit of a difficulty so Steve gets together with his friends to attempt to outwit the evil banker that digs through people's safety deposit boxes after they die. What they decide is to pool their talents and to make a porno, and they land up getting the evil banker's daughters as the main stars. The big question is: how does one make a movie about making porno's and only rate it as an M. Well, that is easy because they have very discrete with what they show. Personally I though the Nude Bomb had a better quote, but this was what I was wondering about this movie anyway. You do see a bit of flesh, but it people's pants do remain on, and when they do not, you don't see it on the camera. This movie is really pro-pornography. They try to say that it is okay because it is not really exploitation of women as the women are doing it out of their own willingness. It may be so, but what I do think is does encourage is people to lust after other people's bodies and really not look beyond a woman (or even a man) as what their bodies show. Personally I prefer to have a relationship with a living, breathing woman, than to stare at them through a television screen. That and porno's being generally boring and exist only to show people not only trumping around in the nude, but having explicit sex, is simply something that I do not find interesting. This movie though was supposed to be a comedy, and it is funny in places, but in the end it is little more than a T&A with a pro-porno message. Also, the acting was quite irritating at times and it also seemed that they were trying to push the message a bit too much. It was not a subtle movie, but it was still enjoyable while it lasted.
