Didn't like it, but honestly it was better than the first two.

Warning: Spoilers
Paranormal Activity 3... wasn't good, as usual the ending left you disappointed, I wasn't expecting much. The problem with Paranormal Activity movies is that they COMPLETELY rely on jump scares. OH MY GOD A PAN FELL! OH MY GOD A LIGHT TURNED ON! OH MY GOD A DOOR SHUT! I would respect these movies more if they at LEAST lead up to things with more suspense but they don't, they're predictable! For example, (Spoiler alert area) remember around the end where the dad walks slowly up to his daughter to try and get her attention when she's crying? You just KNOW that she's gonna scream, growl, whatever to make you jump. Jump scares are a cheap thing to rely on a whole series with. Or when the wife jumped out of the closet wearing the mask, before that you just know something will happen. My friend next to me was predicting what would happen next throughout the whole movie and every time he made a prediction he was correct. But I will give the movie this, in this one, "paranormal activity" occurred in a more spread out form which surprised me, unlike in the previous ones where EVERYTHING happens at the very end. To that thumbs up. However my last complaint is that in these movies including this one, NOTHING WAS BELIEVABLE! (Spoiler Alert Again) That mother was completely stubborn as to not listening to her husband or her very own kid when they tell her something's going on, if I had a kid in the future and they came running up to me crying I'd think "Hm... maybe I should check out what my husband's been filming for the past 3 WEEKS! But not this mom no, she's a dimwit and finally realizes when only something happens to her that "Durrr maybe we should leave now". I disliked this movie greatly, and I wish they'd stop capitalizing off these movies. That is all.
