Warning: Spoilers
We have come to watch a lot of Spanish films lately having spent time in South America. Most of the things being shown range from excellent to mediocre. The cable channel that presents films from several Spanish speaking countries tries to balance a selection of mostly past releases from the Southern Hemisphere. Not having seen most of them, as they are rarely released in the United States because of not having any market, we turn to them searching for movies that might offer a different perspective and view point.

Take the case of this Spanish production. Directed by Jesus Mora, it is a film that makes one wonder who backed this enterprise. The screenplay written by Ivan Morales, could not be more depressing. As usual, in movies from that country, when the text lacks any credibility, directors tend to go for the cheap thrill, as it is the case in this feature. Nothing rings true. The story does not go anywhere and it is a waste for people like the leading lady, Aitana Sanchez-Gijon to put in her resume. That said, our only advice is to watch something different.
