I saw this film at CineQuest film festival in San Jose last week. Not a fan of the vampire genre, I wanted to see what was coming out of the indie scene.
I was pleasantly surprised by the production values, and the story line. Part Faustian tale, part 'detective' drama - a really compelling story with some superb acting. *Spoiler* I liked the use of video as a catalyst for the corruption. A theme that came up in several of the horror flicks at this festival.
The ending was satisfying - but still left enough questions unanswered to serve as interesting after show talk.
