This was an excellent show, one that kept my attention start-to-finish.
In a nutshell, it is a question: Did a man sent to jail four years ago who recently escaped with a handful of others, commit the crime in the first place? Was he innocent or guilty? He says he's innocent (of course) and goes to the extreme by kidnapping "Natalie" (Eva La Rue) to try to talk her into his innocence. It's kind of a bizarre way to prove yourself, but it makes for good theater.
Kevin Corrigan is really interesting as "Patrick Carlson," a guy everyone is convinced is now a two-time killer, as a recent murder has Carlson's MO. It looks for sure like he's committed another murder since his jail escape. However.....there begins to be some doubt.
LaRue's character, "Natalie Boa Vista," seems to have grown in the past few years and she's getting a lot more screen time. (No complaints with that.) Meanwhile, Emily Procter ("Calleigh Dusquense") has almost disappeared of late.
