Intriguing plot which freezes later on to be just any other film.

ELIC focuses on the tragedy of a paranoid child who lost his father in 9/11, essentially a metaphor for a much larger tragedy. Intriguing plot which freezes later on to be just any other film.

Stuffed with contrivance, the movie fails to instill the heartfelt experience for the audience that it perhaps wants. Though you'll cherish a few moments in the movie.

The movie is occasionally moving and Horn pulls off a brilliant role as the protagonist with such an ease. Google predicts, this movie could emerge as a surprise winner at the Oscars though I have my doubts. Nice one time watch.
