That Antony Cotton flop
19 May 2012
Antony Cotton was at the height of his Corrie fame when some bright spark decided to give him his own chat show and it's because of that person that in 2007 we got lumbered with this dire attempt at a chat show.

It tries to be part Graham Norton, part Paul O'Grady and ends up being a lousy mix of both. Cotton overestimates his own popularity and the guests are Z list at best. You can't fault Cotton for sheer enthusiasm but when a format stinks it stinks and this does.

It didn't get a second series and for that we thank the person who has the power to axe things at ITV.
