Controversial flick due the reason who is the hunter on the island. I wont spoil it, you just have to look for yourself. On the other hand, there's almost no red stuff in this survival horror but I must say that I enjoyed it.
So far i haven't heard of Bill Bennett, the director and it shows that he isn't into horror but he do knows how to add suspense towards the story. Evene the actors were unknown for me, maybe they have a name in Australia but they did well. Still, I can understand that storywise many found it stupid and the absence of red stuff and nudity is also for many a let down.
It did remind me a bit of Blair Witch Project (1999), not that it is filmed in docu style but the way sounds are used was what reminded me to Blair Witch. It do has some creepy sounds that you can't place. I liked it and enjoyed it even as it is low on every part for a horror buff like me.
