Open House is character and plot driven episode. Hank's wife is stressed by Hank's health problems. The episode portrays how stressful it can be to support a sick spouse. Hank's wife cracks under the pressure and becomes mentally ill. The police help Hank out and ask for a favor. The favor drives the plot forward, and has Hank chasing down Walter's drug operations. Skyler buys the car wash by nefarious means is a great comic relief part of the episode.I love the fake person from the EPA come out and pay the car wash owner a visit and cites him for all these violations. A memorable episode. I give Open House a seven out of ten.
