Absolutely fantastic.

Warning: Spoilers
First Class is bar none the best X-Men movie. There is no arguing. In First Class, the viewer finds out exactly how and why the X-Men came to be in the first place. How Magneto came to be. Everyone loves a little back story right?

There are a few things that separate this film from the others of its kind. First and most importantly, it's the character relationships. The character relationships built in this movie is second to none. Seriously. I'm talking specifically about Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr. It's something that you would have to see for yourself. There really aren't that many films with that kind of chemistry. Not love of course, but just their "brotherly" love. And that's just two characters. You also got Xavier and Mystique. Erik and Mystique. Come to think of it, Mystique is probably the one with most connections.

There are also scene sequences that will leave you with your jaw on the floor or make you go "holy sh-". The submarine and anchor scene. The submarine in mid-air scene. The coin through head scene. When Xavier gets shot. The missiles going back and forth. The contained explosion going down a certain someones throat. Also, who could forget the the little Wolverine cameo? And much, much more.

I don't know. It's something any person would have to experience. The film manages to mesh the X-Men with the supposed imminent start of WWIII flawlessly. The audience builds a strong relationship with the characters in the movie.. It's just.. great. This movie hits the bullseye in every category there is. Definitely one of my favorites.
