I must admit, I was fairly surprised that the plot/storyline was more dark than the common JL/Bea type that they always! always! make. Of course the melodrama is there. All the romance and light comedy added. Why not? I do give the main actors (Aga, Angel) for a performance that I so longed to see from each of them. But Jake was the real surprise here. I never would've thought he could actually pull off such a powerful performance. The cinematography could've been better but so far, this is one of the best I've seen in local Philippine cinema. I'm not a critic but I must say, given the flaws of the film, I'd give the entertainment value a 9 out of 10.

The only reason I'm not giving this a perfect score was because of the ending... They just can't help themselves. ughh.. I would've preferred if they cut it off on the assassination scene, then probably just added a "flashback" where they were happy. Just so we don't see another ending where they drove off into the sunset all cheerful as if nothing happened.
