Pleasantly Surprised

I agree with Russell's summation of this film. In only five minutes, there was a story arc and a completion of that arc. I have seen my share of film shorts and a number of them do not possess the genuine, thoughtful, inquisitive and fluid attributes of this film. The actors acted and reacted with one another with great ease. And the dialogue was something that I, or other people that I know, would hear in many parts of the world. The subject matter was handled in an impressive way. You have two young men who are curious and willing to explore something that they want to know more about with each other. That act requires honesty, trust and respect. The actors delivered the vulnerability of the lines with great skill and I imagine that was not easy to do. I believed what I saw in these five minutes and that impressed me. I cannot say that with many films that I have seen of much greater length. And that fact that the young men continued kissing during the closing credits was an added bonus.
