I LOVE watching bad B-Movies that are so unintentionally bad they're good. This one is actually trying to be a bad B-movie (I think) and therefore is just bad. Just plain bad. Note to the filmmakers: you cannot create a cult classic, cult classics just are.
Though I get what they were going for, it fails tremendously. It's not funny enough to be a comedy nor filled with enough entertainment to pass as an action film. Netflix categorized it as an "Exciting Sci-Fi & Fantasy". This mis-categorization is funnier than the entire movie. It's the kind of movie film school students should study so they can see what happens when you try too hard. Not an ounce of entertainment to be found in this film.
Truly painful to watch, especially with so many experienced actors embarrassing themselves on screen. In honor of and out of respect for Michael Clarke Duncan (whom I usually enjoy) they should remove this movie from Netflix.
