6/10 Started off really well but tailed off towards the end

Warning: Spoilers
Firstly let me say I LOVEfilm ! - shame its not available on all platforms i.e. iphone & apple TV yet but that aside eleven years after it came out I've finally watched a 24 series ( in a weekend ) from start to finish without having to wait 6 months to know the ending ! It started off really well .

NO SPECIFIC ONLY GENERIC CRYPTIC SPOILERS (i.e. they will only make sense after you see it and not spoil your viewing ) Episode one - hooks you in straight away and sets you up for the twists and turns throughout . It definitely has the expect the unexpected feeling from start to finish , although as the episodes build up this does start to drag a bit and the freshness of episode one is never repeated.

The good news is that unlike LOST or The EVENT it does contain a start middle and end and you're not left dangling at the end of episode 12 or 24 no doubt cleverly designed for TV scheduling had the first 12 not bitten . I would have given it more than 6/10 had it not recycled too much of the BOND routine of "I'm going to kill you Mr Bond" only to make escape too easy then a mass of minor characters are killed but major characters appear to have 99 lives !

Obviously I appreciate the genre and drama requite it but it starts to get tedious towards the end . Had the ending been any different the score would have been LESS than 5/10. The last two episodes gave good closure. Pad.A
