Charlie's Angels: Angel Hunt (1979)
Season 4, Episode 11
7/10
Well-produced, adventurous episode

Warning: Spoilers
"Angel Hunt" is big and adventurous and exotic; it feels more like a season opener or closer, though it actually came in the middle of season 4. The Angels are having some fun in the sun (and the sea) when they receive an urgent call from "Charlie", asking for their immediate help in Mexico. When they arrive there, they are (mis)guided to a "desert" island, where they soon find out they have some unwelcome company: a man whom Charlie had contributed to sending to prison for life (for multiple murders) has escaped and, along with two other escapees, plans to hunt down and kill the Angels one-by-one, unless Charlie (and Bosley) can figure out where he is and come to stop them. Without their guns or other benefits of civilization, the Angels have to count on their wits, their skills, and even their humor, to survive. Certainly one of the most memorable episodes - can you name another one that features both a tiger and Kris doing a Tarzan imitation? Also we see lots and lots of Charlie this time....the back of his head, that is! And this episode goes even further than "Angel On Campus" in establishing Tiffany as the most literary-educated of the group. *** out of 4.
