Kind of trite. Bad representation of Kampuchea
24 January 2013
When I heard that a movie was being made about Kampuchea, I thought that it would show our country correctly. Instead, we have a movie that shows the country as if it is a mean and scary place.

It is important for people to understand that Kampuchea is the strongest country and isn't a bad place or a place with stupid people. There is strong industry but it seems that the film maker just wanted to talk about some girl and her home coming to a place that doesn't really even exist. Also I am not sure that the first act was really strong enough and the pacing was a bit off.

Pol Pot would be ashamed of this awful film.
