Slaughter Day (1972)
Confession of the greatest heist film buff ever:
12 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers

I search for instance THAT MAN GEORGE and also WORLD IN MY POCKET, two armored truck robberies tales. I would get through a mine field to get them. What's better in the world than an armored truck heist? Nothing. But I feel getting in my deep madness, so I'll don't bother you anymore with that. So...

This very movie, SITUATION, is the perfect example of the sixties and seventies piece of work, mostly European or Canadian movies, almost B pictures, with nearly unknown actors. I watched one of these a couple of weeks ago: FAST KILL, directed by Lindsay Shonteff, a film with almost the very same scheme. Mastermind planning the perfect caper, recruiting the staff, execution and also the perfect set up. Twist ending...

Unfortunately, we don't find this kind of stuff anymore.

Finish.
