Entertaining in spite of campy narration
20 February 2013
Good ideas and entertaining graphics make this fairly watchable, in spite of the truly awful narration - over-enunciation, inappropriate emphases, and an annoying growliness to the voice compelled me to look up the credits while I was watching to see if perhaps George Takei was taking a campy stab as the voice talent. I would very much prefer a more natural narration that isn't so distracting.

I'm also becoming weary of the series writers' use of clichés and "you'll never guess what happens next" leading statements. Sometimes the writing almost smacks of pseudo-science - I was expecting them to start talking about aliens at some point. Overall, I enjoy watching the series but definitely preferred the writing and narration of the first year's shows.
