Score 4/10 Courtroom drama movie requires very tight screenplay with well versed dialogues but both are missing in this court room drama film. Director and writer Mr. Subhash Kapoor should be blamed for this. Characterization is literally bad. A judge asks for favor from opposition lawyer in courtroom which reflects his greedy character but suddenly he crosses all limits to make a verdict on emotional ground without having enough evidence. A lawyer is so stupidity illiterate that he can't understand the difference between Appeal and Apple and Prosecution and Prostitution but he fights well . This humor is stuffed just keeping the promo in mind. The lawyer accepts the offer to stand for false evident for merely 1000 Rs, suddenly converts in to a person who is hungry for justice. Yeah, there is emotional speech by his girlfriend but love is not established then how does he get convinced? Love track is very weak. There are some stupid comedy scenes, like the dispute for music rights between two music directors, even the posting distribution of Police officers by a Hawaldar through auction. When, writer fails to keep the pace moving he chooses such type of diversion. Only two scenes are good and emotional, one when Arsad Warsi is trying to pee then a beggar requests him to move somewhere because he uses this place for his family shelter and another, the climax speech by Saurabh Shukla but climax speech of Arsad Warsi is unbearable. He always uses word Janab in court which unnecessary reminds the Mughal era. Performance wise Arsad Warsi (as Jagdish Tayagi)is not convincing at all, neither in love scenes nor in serious scenes. Boman Irani (as Rajpal) is fantastic. Amrita Rao (as Sandhya) is very impressive in her brief role. She is damn good in romantic scenes as well as in emotional ones. Saurabh Shukla (as judge) is fine. There are lots of good actors but without good scenes they are wasted. Music, lyrics and choreography is bad.
