Let me First start by saying I do not surf and have never ridden a wave, this film helped me understand myself while teaching me about the great Pacific. Needless to say,Great Film!!! I loved every minute, I actually cried when Ned's mother passes away, Wow! Nia peeples nailed this part that is why she is one of the greatest actors alive :) I can not believe this film was not in the theatres,I am so happy for everyone involved in making this picture, I heard about The Outside when I was visiting in Hawaii for the film festival, I was one of the few people that was lucky enough to see this on the big screen. Two Big thumbs up!!! If your into compassionate independent films this is the film for you.
