A nostalgic movie with a broad range of target audience and generational messages.

The movie indeed holds so many memories for the young adults of today since the movie actually links to the reality of the same era in their childhood. Me included!

Unlike many movies that are created nowadays in Iran with a cast consisting of many young children, this one has originality, the performances are real and completely bring the story to life. The movie goes beyond the simple love-for-an-orphan-girl type and manages to express the feelings within the hearts of many orphan girls whose families were hurt in war. Another asset to the beauty of the movie could be how beautifully its plot is connected with the play "Blue Bird" by Maurice Maeterlinck, which is the opening scene of the movie. I'd recommend this movie to anyone who wants to get to know Iranians better with an open minded view of how they handle love.
