The movie, from a competence point of view, is well made for the budget, though it is obvious they have little understanding of Muslim life and traditions. But that makes it worse in reality because its entire purpose is to blame terrorism solely on the UK Govt. from all angles. It tries as hard as possible to make the terrorists reluctant, thoughtful people who are tricked by govt. agents to become terrorists and at the same time, for some unfathomable reason, they try hard to kill the guy they send after the very terrorists they created. All illogical, but who cares, as long as in the end, the only guilty party is the UK Govt., then mission accomplished.
As someone who has lost friends in the US 9-11 attacks, I find it all offensive and inexcusable, unless you live for terrorism apologist/justification propaganda. It is completely insensitive to real world victims and real world vicious Islamic Extremists who kill people, not only in Western Nations, but also poor African nations where they cut the heads off of 100's of thousands of purely innocent Christian men, women, children and infants, simply because they are not Muslim. A film like this trivializes the horror. Perhaps if those involved in this pro terrorist/anti govt. propaganda piece had similarly lost friends or family (or both as some of my friends have in addition to me) you'd look a little differently at it instead of the offensive and insensitive and dishonest piece of conspiracy theorist drivel.
What a sad waste of talent and public money. I suppose those recent terrorists who cut that poor soldier to death in the streets in England this week was a government conspiracy too? Sean Bean should be so proud to be attached to this film for the rest of his life. What a legacy piece for what was a talented actor. Surely he read the script right?
