Warning: Spoilers
Nope this movie is not about a man easting a piece of bread out of the toaster. It's Joseph Jefferson playing his most famous character as Rip van Winkle. Basically, reading the movie's title out loud and slowly will take you almost as long as watching the actual short film.

It's basically one man filling another man's glass with a bottle of beer. Then both raise their glasses and toast each other. Van Winkle laughs a lot and finally drinks. Looking at the characters outfit and motor function, this may have not have been the first of the night and certainly not the last.

It's extremely brief just like the other Rip van Winkle short films and I'd really only recommend it to those interested in the very early years of cinema. And even there you'll find more significant and watch-worthy projects than this one.
