Boy Meets World is an awesome and often pretty funny show. It has themes about growing up and facing problems of adolescent life. This was a big part of my childhood and I remember watching this show all the time. This show has funny jokes and many iconic figures such as Cory Matthews and the legendary Mr. Feeney.
This pilot episode introduces us to Cory, his brother Eric, his best friend Hunter, and his teacher/principal Mr. Feeney. When Cory is caught listening to the Phillies game in class, Feeney gives him detention and a life lesson on love.
Overall, this is a fantastic episode that is really funny though sometimes juvenile. I loved the interplay between Cory and Feeney and of course we will see more over the course of the next six seasons. I rate this episode 9/10.
