One of the most interesting aspects from "Belly" is the stylish design of the character design, which somewhat reminded me the animations done by Priit Pärn, having a very unusual and original aesthetic. I know that for some viewers those kinds of designs could be seem as unappealing or even "ugly" by traditional standards (The ones from Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks movies) but personally, I think the art from "Bely" was fascinating to look, having a marvelous combination of cruelty and innocence, which is more than appropriate for the mood of the surreal story from this short.
Beautiful, bizarre and also strangely sad, "Belly" is a more than worth-watching experience, which I enjoyed a lot despite (or maybe because of) all its bizarreness.
