My Big Fat Revenge (2013– )
1/10
great show if you enjoy feeling uncomfortable

This show is the definition of a douche chill manifested in a half hour time slot. It's painful to get through an episode. I suppose the concept seemed good when whomever pays for this got the proposal: Overweight people who've been bullied in the past work to get fit and go back to the person that hurt them to exact revenge by being "fabulous" or whatever. The fact is that watching someone hyper-focus on how someone else made them feel bad and then obsess over how to make their bully feel some sort of forced remorse is just awkward. It used to be fun on programs like Maury when the dumpy kid comes out and greets their bully all hot and fit, but that lasts about 5 minutes to the oohs and ahhs of live audience just seems like good fun. Stretching that concept out to fill a half hour makes the person seeking "revenge" just seem obsessive and pretty darned crazy. You can't force someone to feel bad for being a jerk AND if you're insane enough to take that person on a national television program in hopes of doing so- well in this case I almost have to side with the bullies. There is something definitely wrong with you and it sure as hell isn't your love-handles. I wouldn't waste my time with this show. Maybe the producers will get the clue and cancel it.
