Warning: Spoilers
This was an animated TV series. There will be mild spoilers ahead:

This animated TV series was comprised of three running series-George of the Jungle, Tom Slick and Super Chicken. Each episode consisted of three short cartoon segments starring one of the three heroes, along with various other characters. Each had at least one recurring sidekick. One had a recurring villain, while the other two had different foils each week.

The Tom Slick series had the Baron, Otto Matic and his toadie Clutcher. The Baron and Clutcher were usually funnier and alas, more interesting than Tom Slick. The best lines were frequently given to Clutcher.

Super Chicken had a silly protagonist. His sidekick Fred was much more entertaining and so were most of the villains. He did have a good theme song though ("Fred, if you're afraid you'll have to overlook it. Besides you knew the job was dangerous when you took it!") George of the Jungle is the most famous of the three, with the most memorable theme song. George is singularly stupid. That's the basic premise of the series. The supporting characters carry this one.

This is available on DVD and is well worth watching. Recommended.
