Star-Crossed (2014)
6/10
OK and nothing more

This show is not new to me - another idea of a star-crossed, sci-fi story. The dialogs are not interesting, poor written and unrealistic. Although this show has some cool stuff - like the technology and the sector, most of the time you are busy with why are they saying all these cheesy, heard-it-before stuff. The main couple - Emery and Roman - have a serious lack of charisma, as a couple and as individuals. It seems like the other relationships that are evolving around, are a lot more interesting and fun to follow after. In other words, the star-crossed couple are pretty predictable and boring. I liked Matt Lanter in other projects he did, but this one is not flattering him. Aimee Teegarden is always lovely to see, but her innocence is almost frustrating sometimes. Together, as a couple, they have some chemistry, but not enough to be the center, nor to be interesting. I did love the development of the story. each episode has one event which makes me want to watch the next episode, even if most of the episode was a mess. The storyline is sometimes boring, sometimes fun and sometimes surprising, depends on what's happening in the episode, of course. Most of the time it's OK. Overall, "star-crossed" is not a must-see show, but if you have some spare time, you should totally waste it on this show.
