Personally, this has been a Banks week for me. Purely a weird coincident. Two nights ago, I had Man on Ledge which has Banks in it, last night I had Catching Fire with Banks in it, this eve I just watched Walk of Shame with Banks in it and tomorrow I plan to have Lego Movie with Banks in it. If it is not a cosmic level weird, not sure what is. I am not a fan of Banks. Not even familiar with her movies before.
Now, not much can be told about the Walk of Shame, other than this is pure gold comedy. And I am usually not a big fan of this genre.
The Good
The laughter starts from the first minute of this movie. There is no slapstick scene here. No forced humor, each scenes just flows naturally. The main antagonist, the female reporter, is just who she is going through the scenes. She does not even try to be funny which brings all the laughter.
The Bad
Not sure if there is a negative here for this is a comedy movie with common moral message: Just be your(good)self.
Overall
See this movie and you will feel much better after it. Maybe not fair, but cannot give it a ten since this is a light comedy movie, but totally recommend this as pure entertainment to cheer up the long day.
