This Famous Studios Screen Songs short centers around baseball, with a game between a team of elephants and a team of different animals of many varieties. It is utterly and completely predictable, comprised of old jokes and puns which had whiskers even before this short was done.
The focus of this short is a sing-along to "Take Me Out To the Ball Game" (what else?) and they even managed to make that border on monotony, though you do hear verses of that which aren't typically sung these days.
If you want a good baseball cartoon, the boys at Termite Terrace did a fair number of them, pretty much all of them more lively than this one. This one's on a few PD DVDs and is worth a look.
It is a pretty good cartoon for young children. It's cute and repetitive.
