America - Imagine A World Without Movie Critics
5 July 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Wow! A heart-warming film and an education at the same time. Whether you are a staunch Patriot or doubt that the United States is a great country, there is something to learn, take away and further research from the content of this film. There is a lot that we all don't know, especially having been educated in the U.S. in the last 50 years. The presentation is low key and the production is seamless. A favorite moment for me was the segment on Madam C. J. Walker - brought tears to my eyes. Even the elderly people in the audience (on the 4th of July showing) stood and listened to the rocking Star Spangled Banner at the end. Don't run out too quick! Not an attack film, but like many Americans, Dinesh disagrees with the intent and background of the current administration and its corollary to the assumed 'next' administration. Thank the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights for acknowledging your God given right to Freedom Of Speech. Any dissenters to that one?
